Growing up with TOS, yes I'm that old. I never thought that I would take my wife and two of my grown up daughters to the national Star Trek convention in Vegas. This journey should be a blast and of course must obtain authentic starfleet gear to wear. I hope to learn as much as possible so we don't look like we purchased them from a Hong Kong source, Ha! My wife is currently working on her Seven of Nine outfit, boy is she brave! I believe she can pull it off. My oldest daughter is going as T'Pol and I'm still waivering between a Vulcan advisor or a Nemesis uniform which seem to be pretty sharp. Nice to be onboard, Live long and prosper.
