I, of course, asked one of the Greensmen if they were, in fact, shooting Star Trek XI. His reply? "Yeah, well I don't know what number it was."

Heheh... nice. I was just there last year when we were shooting Star Trek: Of Gods and Men. I wasn't able to take any pictures until the day following
when we were at Laurel Canyon Studios. Great pics, SW!

Looks like the movie version (the name and registry are even in the same font, rather than that used in TOS) with circular nacelles; so far, unimpressed.

Well I will just say what I said before on another board.
I have seen many Trekkies run to the hospital because of ulcers brought on due to timeline and continuity issues. Sorry folks I am not one 
Be mad, Be upset, Don't see the film. I will be there watching it in the best theatre I can find on 12-25-08 and watch it and make my own judgement of it as a film by itself.

has anyone seen the costumes yet(other than blurry pics)???....Steve Thomas's 1701st claims they are using a lot of spandex..Just wondering if anyone has
any knowledge or pics of the new uniforms????

Not sure about the spandex, but I can tell you that all the uniform images we have seen thus far have been Academy uniforms.

I know two folks that have been on the bridge set watching filming. And both are tight lipped about what they saw.
One is James C. from NV and all he said is they got the uniforms 'DEAD ON". Keith |

I know James has seen them and will wear one...looks like they need to just let out the info..
Cho in a space suit with a Samaria sword...2/3rds done filming, and a big BANG(in my opinion is wrong) with merchandising before the film... Looks like this will be a fun ride 
Edit: I wish the paparazzi would stop taking pics of ST...They get a clear shot of Brittney Spears crotch but cant get a clear shot of the people or costumes from the movie...always blurry....get a better photographer.It's called FOCUS....

I have been going over the new uniform tunics based on the Poster just released...They are 2 pieced...Looks like they are keeping to traditional Trek with
Spock's collar being higher.
I haven't seen the whole thing yet but based off this photo it wont be too hard to duplicate...I'm thinking it's a black shirt(DS9 style in a wool) With a coat..maybe front zipper with a V at the neckline....Long sleeve for men...Obviously short for women. Too soon to tell!  ...
