I've been looking around and have not been able to find anyone that remotely resembles a "talented" seamstress to put a monster maroon together for me. A good friend of mine was at the Star Trek 40th Auction and purchased a bunch of uniform bits for me, all screen worn. I know the Admiral's sleeve braid is the rarest item in the group. New Roddenberry TWOK pattern?

According to Roddenberry.com they have a new (2009) improved pattern for the TWOK jacket with better instructions etc.

Has anyone seen this and can confirm that it has better instructions? (if so may have to open my wallett!)

I have a very good customer who owns a machining business. Its not one of these "mills in my garage" business, this is an honest to gog machining business that manufactures aircraft components. He owes me for some work I have done for him and he is very willing to help me out with some of my projects.

One of these projects I have him working on is a machined security wheel based on the first wheel from a set of photos that STUniformGuide posted under the Security Wheel...

Perhaps this is posted before, but i couldn't find it, Is there a special kind of dye you use when dying the jacket?
I was just looking around for some usable material, and found this.

For those who own "screen used" maroon jackets, at your convenience, could I get some photos of the jacket lining? If so, I would like to see all the lining panels, the sleeve lining (also, the lining at the cuff), and the sleeve binding. Also helpful, using your best guess, if the lining is cotton, rayon, poly, etc. I know that you guys have a real life and cannot jump on this right away. Like many on here, I am frustrated by the lack of high quality screen accurate Wrath of Khan tunics to purchase. Because of this, I am investigating the possibility of opening up my own shop with professional sewing artisans. At present I am searching for original patterns from Paramount and a tunic I can borrow so one of my master sewers can examine it (NOT take it apart) for a proper authentic tunic appearance and fit. Hi all,

I bought a chest insignia and a couple of captain rank pins on ebay from these guys and i have concerns that the chest insignia may be a recast. The listing states that the insignia is the one by Lincoln Enterprises however the one i recieved has an absolutely horrendus paint job which leads me to think it may be a recast. I left positive feedback for the rank pins but emailed them about the chest insignia explaining my concerns to give them a chance to come clean rather...

Just wondering if someone could do me a massive favor and post some picures of what the TWOK jacket looks like inside out.
I know this may sound very bizzare, but to someone who isn't all that confident at costuming, pictures of the inside will be a huge help to understand the construction. I've been looking everywhere for a replica of the shirt Kirk wears in Search for Spock and the Voyage home. I've been doing some research on it. It is the one he wears with his burgundy suit. It always looked white to me, but apparently it is a light magenta or pink. I really like this shirt and if anybody finds a good replica of it I would really like to check it out.

Anybody happen to own a TWOK uniform by Warp One who can post some pictures? The ones they have on the web site are not very good and are generaly not a good likeness of how the uniforms really look. Im Trying to decide between buying a cheeper uniform and getting it adjusted or buying a pattern and getting someone to make it (I don't think my sewing skills will be up to the challenge!)

Many moons ago I bought a TWOK style medical uniform from IAW, this is one of those uniforms that just looks awesome, and it came with all the bits and pieces EXCEPT the caduceus! IAW has offered up several of them before and after I purchased the uniform from IAW. They have all exceeded the cost I was willing to pay for the "finishing touch" for my TWOK medical uniform… BUT the uniform has never quite looked right on display… it has always appeared that something was missing....
