How's it going all?. Been a long time statrek fan. i remember my mother taking me to shore leave wen i was a child, seeing all the costumes and goods ther.... Well now I'm a father and i would lke to take my Mother&daughter to conventions. Only this time we are going to be in costume. I have no idea were to start, butt i know my mother loves the wraith of kahn suits and i want to suprise her. I dont know what it takes to make one, so I'm going to get further educated through...

Hello everyone, my name is Patrick and I'm here to learn more about accurate TRek uniforms.
I'm a visual effects student and I make costumes for a living(mostly out of latex/fiberglass/resin ect...) and have been getting into more fabric based costumes particularly Star Trek TOS and ST2009. I'm also a member and officer of the 501st Legion(Clonetrooper Detachment).

Found this site in my efforts to get what I needed together for a twok uniform. After getting mine and reading this I'm now no longer surprised as to why (in my opinion) the best looking uniform is so hard to find. Been kind of a labor of love getting mine "up to specs".

I joined the board hoping to find a good maker of screen accurate TOS Star Trek Uniforms. I made a few purchases in the It's a wrap auctions on ebay - I own a blue T'Pol Jumpsuit and a brown Seven of Nine costume. I would also like to find a maker that can make a Silver Seven of Nine.

Hey folks,

Been trolling here off and on. I figured it's time to step out of the shadows.

I am an avid Star Trek fan building my first descent costume. Unfortunately, I bought a cosplayying TWOK costume. It isn't horrible, however, after seeing some of the suits here, it is nowhere near what I want.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello, and look forward to learning a lot from you folks.

I recently got the time and a little cash set aside to finally start building a high quality Trek uniform setup rather than blowing my money on all other things Trek :P I can't sew, or at least when I do it's not pretty so I figured I'd join here to help track down any avenues for those good quality uniforms I can have made as they seem to be few and far between and semstresses are...

I work in TV production in Los Angeles and because I have worked on a lot of the Trek shows over the past 15 years or so, I have become something of an accidental collector of Trek-Stuff. Growing up with TOS, yes I'm that old. I never thought that I would take my wife and two of my grown up daughters to the national Star Trek convention in Vegas. This journey should be a blast and of course must obtain authentic starfleet gear to wear. I hope to learn as much as possible so we don't look like we purchased them from a Hong Kong source, Ha!
